2-Hour Workshop
PRESENTED BY MITZI MILLER
Everyone talks about yoga for mindfulness, but Pilates has also been quietly doing the work all along. Breath. Control. Concentration. Precision. It's a moving meditation that doubles as a workout.
Learn how to be more present during your Pilates session, get the most from the movement, and support both your mental and physical well-being. This will be part movement and part discussion.
If you want to build resilience and connect better with your body on and off the mat, this workshop is for you.
Some Pilates experience required.
ABOUT MITZI
With more than 20 years of experience in the movement and Pilates world, she brings a depth of knowledge shaped by both extensive training and hands-on experience. Classically trained under Brett Howard, she has owned and operated her own studio and worked with a wide range of clients, from elite athletes to those stepping into a movement practice for the very first time.
Over the course of her career, her work expanded beyond movement when she became a licensed therapist, deepening her understanding of the connection between the body, mind, and nervous system. In her therapeutic practice, she uses mindfulness not simply as a tool for relaxation, but as a way to help people build greater awareness, resilience, and the capacity to remain present with discomfort rather than immediately trying to escape or eliminate it.
This workshop brings those two areas of expertise together, exploring how mindful awareness and intentional movement can support a more grounded, adaptable, and connected relationship with both the body and mind.
